- You can, to a fashion. Use the FMS package from Aminet, disk/misc. I'll include
- the intro from the docs.

- FILE BASED TRACKDISK SIMULATOR
-
- * Useful for creating a floppy-like partition on your harddisk
- (so you can diskcopy to a floppy) WITHOUT actually having to
- create a special partition for it.
-
- * Useful for testing new filesystems and such
-
- The fmsdisk.device simulates a trackdisk.device for fixed media
- via a DOS file (one file per unit). Simply setup your Mountlist,
- mount the simulated trackdisk, and format, and you are off.
- ________________________________________________________________________________
-
- It's controlled by using DOSDrivers. I have four setup on a ToolsDaemon menu.
- When ever I need to unDMS a file, just load up an FMS simulated disk, rename it
- to df0: and away you go.
-
- The only problem is that each FMS disk takes up 900Mb of your HDrive. If you
- combine this with DropBox, again off aminet, you have a very nice drop-and-go
- .DMS system.
-
- I've used this for a good 15 months now, without any problems.
-
- If you want further help setting this up, drop me a line.
-
- Cheers Guy.
